This year, you probably won’t be invited to your American friends’ house to share the turkey in the Thanksgiving tradition. There is always the possibility to reserve a table at the restaurant but you can also stay with your family, in your home, sweet home.

If you still haven’t mastered cooking turkeys, making cranberry sauce, or preparing traditional gravy, but feel like trying your hand at celebrating Thanksgiving at home? Amélie Fairfax & Amélie San Francisco
Amélie Fairfax wine bar and brasserie offers in-person dining on their heated parklet on November 26th from 1 pm to 8 pm. Reservation required, no more than 6 persons per table for a 3-course menu + amuse-bouche at 55$ per person (a kids menu is also available)

Amélie San Francisco will also be open on Thanksgiving day from 4 pm to 8 pm and will serve a raclette on its heated parklet !! Reservation required 6 persons max per table.

Café de la Presse
Le Café de la Presse, which has been welcoming you for Thanksgiving for the past 15 years has put together a take-out menu. Chef Laurent Manrique offers a complete 2-people menu for $99 (pumpkin soup, roast turkey with sage and its stuffing, Brussels sprouts, mash potatoes, traditional gravy sauce, orange-cranberry sauce, tart cinnamon-caramel, Tarte Tatin) – Pre-order for pick up on Wednesday, November 25th.

Campagne One Main Bistro: Hotel Enchanté’s restaurant in Los Altos offers a special Thanksgiving menu. Two services, one at 2 p.m. and the other at 5 p.m. in a refined setting. The full menu is detailed here – Offers a children’s menu at $ 35

One65 Chef Claude Le Tohic offers a full Thanksgiving meal for 4, 6, or 8 people. The menu consists of a salad with fresh persimmons, roasted pecan, pomegranate, dill, and walnut dressing, caramelized stuffed pork shank with natural jus, slow-cooked turkey breast with gravy. Here is the list of sides: pan-roasted chestnuts, braised red cabbage with cranberries, pommes purée, roasted Brussel sprouts with bacon a. And a choice of desserts with either pumpkin tart, apple tart, or pecan tart.

This year, Marais Bakery celebrates Thanksgiving through a premier collaboration with world-famous baker Gontran Cherrier. Together, they offer a selection of pastries to delight our Franco-American palates: pumpkin flan, Parisian flan, Normande tarte, Basque chocolate pumpkin cake, galette des rois …  You can select your pick up day and time (closed Thursday, November 26th) at their different locations.

If you are looking for a stress-free Thanksgiving with some classic French comfort food, our Gourmet Dinner Basket is a delicious and easy alternative that feeds four people.  We could not pass up on this funny quote by Maison Danel… so French! The dinner includes heat-and-serve bœuf Bourguignon, potato gratin Dauphinois, French string beans, baguette, and a bottle of Malbec red wine.
