Bayard-Milan is launching a contest to celebrate the French language and to showcase the creativity of children in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Whether you’re a reader of Bayard-Milan magazines or not, you can participate in the contest called “A day in the San Francisco Bay with your favorite character. Draw and tell us about its adventures.”
- What would you like to show him?
- What activity would you like to do with him?
- What places would you like to show him? The Golden Gate Bridge, your favorite beach, a park in your neighborhood, your secret fort in your bedroom … There is no limit to your imagination!!
This Bayard-Milan competition, organized in partnership with MerciSF.com, is aimed at children aged from 6 to 11 years old.
A day in the San Francisco Bay with your favorite character: three easy steps to participate, as easy as 1, 2, 3!
- Choose your favorite character from the Bayard-Milan magazines and show us where you take it, what you make it discover, or the activities you do with it in the San Francisco bay.
- Make a project (drawing, collage, painting, model, photo – attention NO video) and write a text between 50 to 100 words in French on a separate sheet describing what your character does in the bay area.
- Take a picture of the two pages of your project, click on the link, enter your name in the name of the file* (.jpg, .pdf, .png format) and upload your illustration and your story by registering here ⇒ Register to Bayard-Milan SF Bay Area contest

Deadline to submit your files: March 21, 2021, 9:00 p.m. San Francisco time.
A jury will determine the three best projects according to their creativity, the quality of the production, and of the text in French.
Prizes are :
1st prize: A 6-month subscription to the magazine of your choice in the Bayard-Milan catalog
2nd prize: Three magazines + 1 special issue J’aime Lire
3rd prize: Two magazines
