On Saturday, March 21, 2026, the Francophone community of the Bay Area will gather at the French American School of Silicon Valley for a beloved tradition: La Dictée, a celebration of the beauty, precision, and joy of the French language.

Held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the school’s Upper Campus in Santa Clara, this special morning event invites students, adults, and Francophiles of all levels to come together and share a moment of linguistic challenge and cultural connection. Wonderful prizes will be awarded, including Distinguished Awards for top winners in each category.
