DJ Snake and Madeon will be performing at the Breakaway Festival in San Francisco in October 2023. This two-day festival will host the two famous French DJs on Friday, October 13th.
DJ Snake, who grew up in the suburbs of Paris during the era of the legendary film La Haine and was influenced by DJs like Cut Killer, has a background in urban graffiti art. His stage name originates from his ability to elude the police during his graffiti days. A prodigy on the turntables, he began his career at the Bains Douche in Paris, eventually achieving international fame, including a Grammy nomination in 2013 for the hit “Turn Down for What?” and numerous collaborations with artists like Lady Gaga and J Balvin. Today, he is one of the indispensable French DJs and producers.
Madeon will also be performing! Hugo Pierre Leclercq, better known by his stage name Madeon, is a French DJ and electronic music producer who has left an indelible mark on the global music scene. He first gained recognition with his iconic mashup “Pop Culture,” showcasing his remarkable talent for blending multiple songs seamlessly into a single track. Renowned for his infectious and melodic brand of electronic music, he continues to captivate audiences worldwide with his distinctive sound and energetic live performances.
