Outside Lands is a bit like our Coachella here in San Francisco! And even though the climate is not the same as in Southern California, the atmosphere is just as warm!
San Francisco’s iconic Outside Lands music festival returns to Golden Gate Park from August 8 to 10, 2025, with another prestigious lineup including Tyler, the Creator, Doja Cat, and Hozier and many more.
Amid the diverse lineup, French and francophone artists will add their unique flair to the festival. Leading the charge is Gesaffelstein, the enigmatic 
French DJ and producer known for his dark, pulsating techno beats. Fans of house music can also look forward to a set by Dombresky, whose energetic grooves have made him a staple of the global electronic scene.
We also want to highlight Kaytranada, the Montreal based Haitian DJ & producer, even if his music is not strongly rooted in the French-language scene, his collab with Belgian rapper Shay adds a touch of francophone influence to his repertoire
And, no French Cassettes is not actually French, but a SF-based indie pop band.
Outside Lands is more than just a music festival—it’s a full cultural experience. This year’s edition offers a range of immersive attractions, from SOMA, an open-air destination dedicated to house and techno (yay French touch!) , to Dolores, a dance club celebrating the queer and trans communities that have shaped San Francisco’s nightlife.
Food and drink are also a major part of the Outside Lands experience, with Taste of the Bay Area serving up dishes from some of the region’s best restaurants. Meanwhile, Wine Lands and Beer Lands shine a spotlight on California’s top winemakers and craft brewers, offering festival goers a true taste of the state’s thriving culinary scene.
And for those looking to make the festival truly unforgettable, Outside Lands Weddings even offers for the second year the chance to tie the knot on-site in a uniquely festive setting with its City Hall Experience!
