And now, for the rhyme in -ix (got it?), and to the great delight of the French and Francophone community living in the United States, Astérix et Obélix – l’Empire du Milieu directed by Guillaume Canet is now available on Netflix US.
The film, which attracted 4.5 million viewers in France, is the culmination of five years of work by Guillaume Canet and continues its journey beyond Gaul. With an impressive cast including Vincent Cassel, Marion Cotillard, Gilles Lellouche, and Pierre Richard, the film offers a great moment for the whole family, surrounded by these beloved famous French characters. We encourage you to pay attention to all the cinematic references sprinkled here and there.
For a great family time, watch it here on Netflix US
