French Talent USA presents the documentary On avance à ton rythme by Alexia Cornu, in honor of International Women’s Day.
As a women-led organization, French Talent USA naturally partnered with Alexia Cornu to bring this deeply female story to the screen—one of resilience, transmission, and recovery—especially resonant on March 8.
A well-known figure in the Bay Area, Alexia Cornu embodies a true American-dream success story. A respected fitness coach, she built a thriving career before expanding her work by creating platforms dedicated to women’s health and well-being. With this documentary, she is also the film’s author and one of its subjects, alongside her mother.
On avance à ton rythme follows a mother’s recovery after digestive cancer and the subtle role reversal between a daughter and her mother. Movement becomes a language, humor a lifeline, and every small step a victory. An intimate and universal film about women’s quiet strength and the power of the mother-daughter bond to reinvent itself.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Alexia Cornu.
