The Minnesota Street Project will host a groundbreaking immersive experience from March 8 to April 12, 2025: “Ito Meikyū”, the very first virtual reality work by French filmmaker and illustrator Boris Labbé.

Winner of the Grand Prix at Venice Immersive 2024, this sensory creation draws inspiration from Japanese art history and literature (Fukinuki Yatai, The Tale of Genji, The Pillow Book) to offer a mesmerizing and poetic vision of the world.

At the heart of a labyrinth of fractal architectures, the viewer moves freely through a space filled with plants, objects, animals, characters, and calligraphy. Each journey is unique, guided by chance and the explorer’s choices, creating a truly interactive experience where one becomes both spectator and participant.

Driven by a striking aesthetic blending drawing, animation, and sound design, “Ito Meikyū” transcends the boundaries of traditional cinema, opening up to an unprecedented sensory and contemplative experience. An invitation to a hypnotic journey where art and technology merge to reinvent our perception of space and time.

Don’t miss this unique artistic immersion, at the crossroads of dream and reality.
