“Cocorico” is a French comedy directed by Julien Hervé. The story revolves around two families, the Bouvier-Sauvage, a large aristocratic family, and the Martins, much more modest, who come together for the wedding of their children. On this occasion, the future newlyweds give their parents DNA tests to discover their ancestors’ origins. However, the results turn out to be unexpected and create comical situations and unexpected twists. Julien Hervé, the director, said about his film:

“I wanted to make a comedy that talks about family, origins, and identity. The DNA tests are a pretext to bring these two families together and to create comical and unexpected situations. I hope the audience will see themselves in these characters and situations, and that they will have a good time watching the film.”
