The San Francisco Hub for Business Innovation of INSEAD business school held its Americas Conference, “Sustainable Resilience: Catalyzing Innovations”, a deep dive into key sustainability matters to drive businesses toward a sustainable and resilient future.

With an exceptional panel of senior business and government leaders, INSEAD faculty and alumni, the conference provided an unparalleled forum to discuss the business opportunities that lie at the intersection of innovation and sustainability.

To remain competitive and resilient, companies must learn to navigate a new business landscape that requires them to incorporate not only financial but also environmental and social considerations into their decision-making processes and to adapt their organizational and business models to operate and innovate more sustainably.

The conference explored key opportunities for business leaders to embed sustainability in their strategies, to leverage sustainable investing possibilities, to drive sustainable transformation in their supply chains, as well as how to (re)design their career to align purpose and possibilities. The conference also brought to the conversation the opportunities and challenges that come with game-changing trends such as generativeAI.

The conference culminated with an award ceremony where Pierre-Francois Thaler, EcoVadis co-CEO and INSEAD alumnus, was awarded the Insead Business Sustainability Award, recognizing a demonstrated commitment and excellence in seizing the opportunity to align business and sustainability goals.
