Le Malade Imaginaire en La majeur at TLF San Francisco closes out the year 2023, and this play should not leave you indifferent.
This version of Molière’s ”
Le Malade Imaginaire” which will be staged at TLF San Francisco on November 10, 2023, promises an evening full of surprises and entertainment. Following the presentation of “Dom Juan” last season, this new adaptation invites you to a unique theatrical experience.
In this play, there is dancing, singing, quarreling, laughter, but above all, a celebration of love, as is often the case in Molière’s comedies. The story revolves around Argan, the world’s most hypochondriac man, who is convinced he is seriously ill. To ensure constant care, he decides to marry his daughter to a doctor. However, his daughter has other plans.
This unique adaptation is performed by four talented artists who take on ten different roles. It offers catchy melodies accompanied by the piano for a light and unexpected experience.
Led by the talents of Cécile Dumoutier, Marion Peronnet, Arnaud Schmitt, and Simon Froget-Legendre, this musical version of “The Imaginary Invalid” is a dynamic and hilarious reinterpretation of Molière’s classic.
