Polo & Pan, FKJ, The Blaze, Charlotte de Witte, Charlotte Adigéry! These are the French/francophone artists featured in the lineup of Portola Festival, a recent outdoor music festival in San Francisco, taking place from September 30th to October 1st, 2023.
Tickets have been on sale since May 22nd for the Portola festival, located in the industrial-vibe neighborhood south of San Francisco, which sets the perfect atmosphere for this event.
“According to Danny Bell, [organizer of the event ], the name Portola is a tribute to a street festival and parade in 1907 that marked the city’s comeback after the great earthquake. Bell stated that he conceived Portola in the same spirit, as a celebration of the Bay Area’s triumphant rebound from the effects of Covid.”
This festival is now in its second edition, taking place at Pier 80, the perfect location (usually) and season for two days of non-stop music with an electro lineup. Tickets tend to sell out quickly. Single-day tickets start at $250, and two-day passes are available for $360.
