Sebastian Marx, the most French of American comedians, will be performing his show twice in San Francisco Bay Area (in Menlo Park and San Francisco).
Originally from the United States, he started his career at the legendary Caroline’s Comedy Club in New York at the age of 17. His talent was quickly recognized, leading him to explore new opportunities. After settling in Boston and rubbing shoulders with the big stars of American comedy, Sebastian decided to leave everything behind and move to France. He achieved success with his first one-man show in French and became a beloved member of the Jamel Comedy Club. As an essential comedian, he participated in various television and radio shows. His show, “Un New Yorkais à Paris” (A New Yorker in Paris), was a success from 2016 to 2018.
Following the success of “Un New Yorkais À Paris,” Sebastian is back for new adventures. After 15 years in France, Sebastian feels at home. Even though he still speaks French with a slight German tourist accent, he no longer has an excuse to be considered a foreigner. He now faces all the challenges of being a “forty-something Franco-Jewish-New Yorker, in a relationship with three young children.”
He shares his adventures in his new show “On est bien là” (We’re Good Here), presented by French Talent US on September 20th in Menlo Park (sold out) and September 21st in San Francisco.
Date: September 21, 2023 – SHOW IN FRENCH
