Talking about Alexandra Cicorschi, who exhibits at the TINT gallery, makes us doubly happy.

This allows us to talk about the work of this young artist that we mentioned during her residency at the Villa San Francisco, and at the same time to introduce you to a new place dedicated to contemporary art. This new space, the TINT Gallery, was recently opened by Michelle Edelmann, a Francophile who speaks great French.

No Middle Ground” is Alexandra Cicorschi’s first personal exhibition. This young woman creates art from reclaimed wood salvaged from construction sites or discarded furniture.

The recycling process is the basis of her artistic practice. It is both a plea for sustainability and her personal belief in the importance of renewal through recirculation.

The work of Alexandra Cicorschi presented here reflects the way people deal with conflict situations. “No Middle Ground” is that particular space where forces collide and move away in opposite directions.

The exhibition lasts until April 1, 2022.

The TINT Gallery presents works by artists who all currently reside in the bay area, although from different backgrounds. You will find Lela Shields, Diane Wang, Lisa Ostapinski, and Geneviève Lheureux art.
