The good news this month is the reopening of Café du Soleil 🌞 between the Duboce and Lower Haight neighborhoods.

Cafe du Soleil TerrasseAfter 2 years of shutdown, Mustapha Hakkou was able to reopen his charming café which he had to close at the start of the pandemic following setbacks related to the lease. Established in 2005, the shutdown left a feeling of emptiness for its regular clients.

Mustapha was able to reinstall Le Café du Soleil just across the street from the previous location, at the corner of Fillmore and Waller Street.

Same formula as before with a varied menu combining pastries, salads, sandwiches, and toasts. He has pursued his partnership with La Boulangerie de San Francisco, which delivers bread and pastries daily.

Open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the moment, stop there any time from breakfast to afternoon tea, or just for a coffee; We will soon be able to come there to sip an aperitif (French cocktail hour) as soon as the hours are extended.

A very pleasant terrace in this quiet street, an interior with minimalist decor makes it a nice place to meet, have a coffee or have lunch in the sun.

Address : Café du Soleil – 400 Waller/211 Fillmore, San Francisco
