Lupin Season 2 (released on June 11th, 2021) – a French series created by George Kay in collaboration with François Uzan starring Omar SY. A retelling of the classic French story about Arsène Lupin, the world-famous gentleman thief and master of disguise. Here is the official trailer

Sakho et Mangane (2019) – Two police officers, Sakho and Mangane, meet during a drug deal and find they are complete opposite. However, their new commander, Mama Bâ, decides they would make great partners. Their first case is the mysterious murder of a Belgian ethnologist

The Serpent (2021) – A British Series about the true story of a French serial killer. With Tahar Rahim in the main role.

Under Suspicion (2020) – Docu-series –  Belgian politician Bernard Wesphael is accused of murdering his wife in an Ostend hotel room on October 31, 2013.

Ad Vitam (2018) Sci-Fi – In an age of medical technology that allows people to live forever young, a cop and a rebellious 20-something investigate a mass suicide of seven teenagers.

A Very Secret Service (2015) – Series – 1960: the French intelligence service hires the 23-year-old André Merlaux. Handsome, well raised, intelligent but impressionable, Merlaux has much to learn to serve and defend the interests of France. Three officials must adequately train him to execute delicate and sometimes outlandish operations, as Merlaux discovers the intricacies of government and navigates diplomatic incidents.

Age of Tanks (2017) – Documentary – A look at how tanks, the most iconic weapon of the 20th century, were designed, built, and operated as monstrous war machines.

Black Spot (2017) – Series by Mathieu Missoffe – a French-Belgian television thriller that premiered on France 2, following its debut at Festival des créations télévisuelles de Luchon.  A police inspector investigates a string of murders in a town where the murder rate is six times higher than the rest of the country.

Call My Agent Series by Florence Herrero – All 4 seasons available – Mixing comedy and drama, the series describes the life of a prestigious talent agency. On each episode, a movie star plays her own role with some self-mockery; From Jean Dujardin to Isabelle Adjani, Marion Cotillard, Monica Bellucci, and even Sigourney Weaver!

Chef’s Table France (2016) – The latest installment of Netflix’s documentary series focuses on bold new flavors in one country: France, described as the “mecca of food” by series creator and director David Gelb. Viewers are taken on a tour of dazzling culinary ingenuity as the techniques employed by renowned chefs Alain Passard, Adeline Grattard, Alexandre Couillon, and Michel Troisgros are explored. The chefs reinvent –and reinvigorate — rich culinary traditions with ideas that push boundaries, fuse cuisines and defy expectations.

Criminal France (2019) – Series – Set within the confines of a police interrogation room, French investigators engage in intense games of psychological cat-and-mouse with their accused suspects to find the answers they need in order to solve their cases. This is a French-language police procedural anthology series created by Kay Smith and Jim Field Smith and starring Nathalie Baye, Jérémie Renier and Sara Giraudeau. Criminal: France is part of Netflix’s Criminal, an anthology series consisting of twelve episodes, with three episodes set in each of four countries, filmed in local languages – France, Spain, Germany and the UK.

Deep (2016) – Series – Condemned by an incurable disease,a police investigator decides to infiltrate the dangerous networks of drug traffickers, tracking the explosion of a new synthetic drug on the streets of Paris.

EinsatzGruppen – The Nazi Death Squads (2009) Documentary Series – Nazi mobile killing squads, led by highly-educated officers and aided by local collaborators, systematically murdered over a million Jews. Explores who the men who carried out mass murder at close range were.

Emily in Paris (2020) – an American series created by Darren Star (Sex in the City) that premiered on October 2, 2020, on Netflix. Emily is an American woman moving to Paris for a job opportunity. There she struggles to achieve success in the workplace while searching for love and experiencing incidents when her Midwestern sensibilities (she is from Chicago) clash with Parisian culture. Full of clichés but entertaining.

It also stars Ashley Park, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Camille Razat, and Bruno Gouery.  Watch this Vogue Paris Quiz of the Casting of Emily in Paris: Paris vs. New York …. who wins?

Family Business (2019) – Series – In this comedy series, a Paris family decides to turn its declining kosher butcher shop into the first French marijuana coffee shop. Jonathan Cohen, Gérard Darmon, Julia Piaton, Liliane Rovere

Fary Hexagon (2020) – French comedy phenom Fary puts a playful spin on questions of identity, culture and more in the first half of an epic two-part stand-up special.

Grizzy and the Lemmings  (2015) – Animated Series for kids – Set in the distant future, a 7-feet tall grizzly bear named Grizzy, has broken into a park ranger’s home, finding himself contending with a group of trouble-making lemmings in a forest in Canada. In the cabin he does not do anything except sleeping on Sofa , watching TV or eating.

H – (2002) – H is a French sitcom with seventy-one 22-minute episodes. It ran from 24 October 1998 to 20 April 2002 on Canal+. The lives of the carelessly incompetent medical team at a hospital in the Parisian suburbs explode in surreal humor as they go about their daily duties.The title “H” comes from the three words that characterize the series: Humour, Histoire et Hôpital (Humour, Story and Hospital).

Inhuman Ressources (aka Derapages) – Alain Delambre (Eric Cantona), unemployed, and 57 is lured by an attractive job opening. But things get ugly when he realizes he is a pawn in a cruel corporate game.

Into the night (2020) – a Belgian series – When the sun starts to kill everything in its path, a plane full of passengers must travel at night in an attempt to escape its destructive power and find someplace safe.

La Mante (2017) Series – A serial killer, nicknamed ‘La Mante’ decides to collaborate with the police when a string of murders that copycat her style suddenly appear. Avec Carole Bouquet, Fred Testot, Manon Azem

La Révolution – Released on October 16th, 2020. The Kingdom of France, 1787. Investigating a series of mysterious murders, Joseph Guillotin – the future inventor of the guillotine – discovers the existence of a new virus: blue blood. The disease spread within the aristocracy and prompted the nobility to attack the people. This is the start of a revolt … What if we had been lied to for over two centuries?

Marianne (2019) French horror web television series created and directed by Samuel Bodin, written by Bodin and Quoc Dang Tran and starring Victoire Du Bois, Lucie Boujenah and Tiphaine Daviot. The plot revolves around the young novelist Emma who realizes that the characters she writes in her horror novels are also in the real world

Mortel (2019) – Teens Series – Empowered by a voodoo spirit, seemingly incompatible high school students Sofiane, Victor and Luisa join forces to flush out the person who killed Sofiane’s brother.

Mythomaniac (2019) Series – Burned out and taken for granted, a working mom suspects her partner is cheating, so to win back his attention, she feigns a medical diagnosis. Maria Hands

Nailed it! France (2019) Game series – “Nailed It!” game travels to France, where amateurs with a taste for catastrophe compete to make edible wonders; There is a €5000 prize to win! comic Artus hosts with chef Noémie Honiat.

November 13 – Attack on Paris (2018) Documentary Series – Filmmakers Jules and Gédéon Naudet direct this three-part documentary that explores the human stories behind the Paris terrorist attacks of Nov. 13, 2015. “November 13” follows the chronology of the events, sharing the testimony of people who were brought together by tragedy — from survivors to first responders and the leaders of the French government. Among the stories told are those of concertgoers at the packed Bataclan theater who sought refuge when caught in a harrowing scene. Following the attacks, the city comes together.

Osmosis (2019) – In Paris of the near future, a dating app matches singles with their soul mates by mining their brain data, but decoding true love comes at a price.

Rabbids Invasions (2013) – Animated series for kids – Based on a popular video game series by Ubisoft, “Rabbids Invasion” features a mysterious breed of rabbit like creatures that have come from another planet and that cause havoc everywhere they go in the human world. The uncontrollable — and indestructible — creatures don’t respect society’s rules.

Room 2806, the Accusation a TV mini-series released on Dec 7th, 2020. This docuseries follows the 2011 sexual assault case involving French politician Dominique Strauss-Kahn at the height of his career. This 4-episode documentary directed by Jalil Lespert does not provide any new information but presents the facts rigorously.

Seven and Me (2016) – French kid-friendly animated series  – An eleven-year-old girl discovers that she is a descendant of Snow White, and is tasked with protecting her family from the evil queen and her vengeful plan.

Spotless (2016) – In London, Jean Bastière has been leading a quiet family life with his wife and two children for fifteen years. Perfectly integrated, he manages a crime scene cleaning business. The balance of the harmonious existence is disrupted, however, when the brother, Martin, whom he has not seen for years, reappears. With this bulky brother, the secrets and wounds of Jean’s past resurface. Faced with old demons he had chosen to bury, Jean will also face other problems. When Martin arrives with the body of a woman hidden in his van, neither one suspects a year with serious consequences is about to start.

The Bonfire of Destiny (2019) – Series – Amid a devastating fire in 1897 Paris, three women see their destinies turned upside down by forbidden love, identity theft, betrayal and emancipation. Based on a true event.

The Break (2016) – Belgium Series – A police detective mourning a painful loss moves back to his hometown, only to be drawn into a murder case that alludes to dark secrets.

The chalet (2018) – When friends gather at a remote chalet in the French Alps for a summer getaway, they become caught in a deadly trap when a dark secret from the past comes to light. Following a series of accidents, the group becomes paranoid upon realizing that they must be related. Thierry sets out on foot to find help. Grisly discoveries lead the friends to distrust one another. Manu reveals news that pushes the survivors to their breaking point. Flashbacks throughout the series show what happened when the family disappeared from the chalet 20 years earlier.

The Circle France (2020) – a French reality competition show which first aired on Netflix on 9 April 2020 that is based on a British TV series of the same name. The show bills itself as a game based around social media, with the concept that “anyone can be anyone in The Circle“. It has been compared to Big Brother and Catfish in format, as well as Black Mirror episode “Nosedive” with the concept of ratings.

The Eddy (2020) A jazz club owner deals with the everyday struggles of running a live music venue in Paris. Original music is written by Glen Ballard and Randy Kerber. By Damien Chazelle, Uda Benyamina, Laïla Marrakchi, Alan Poul

The Forest (2019) – Series – Police investigate after a teenaged girl, Jennifer Lenoir, disappears in a forest in the Ardennes, France, and is assisted by her teacher, who had a traumatic experience in the same forest when she was young.

The Frozen Dead (2017) – A dark mystery stirs a small town in the French Pyrenees, after a group of workers discovers a headless body of a horse. Commandant Martin Servaz dives into the investigation and begins to unravel a dark story with years of history.

The Hook up Plan (2018) – Series – Comedy – Perpetually single Elsa can’t seem to figure out why she is so unlucky in love, and her friends want to rally around her. In a misguided attempt to build up Elsa’s confidence, they hire a male escort — who Elsa knows as schoolteacher Julies — to renew her faith in dating, relationships and finding love. Elsa comes unglued upon discovering that her friends have been hiding big news from her. Longtime friendships reach a boiling point as Elsa wrestles with growing doubts about Jules.

Transfers (2017) Series – Five years after drowning in a boating accident, ordinary man Florian Bassot wakes up in policeman Sylvain Bernard’s body, with scientists having found a way to transfer his consciousness. This sci-fi series won the International Press Jury Award for Best Actor and Best French-Language Series at the Series Mania

Trotro (2004) –  French animated television show aimed at young children. The show is about a young donkey named Trotro. The show is based on the books of Bénédicte Guettier. The show is produced in a series of 78 episodes of 4 minutes each.

Twice upon a Time (2019) – a mini-series by Guillaume Nicloux – Vincent Dauda, still reeling from a breakup, receives a package with mysterious properties that could give him a chance to win back his ex, Louise. Casting Gaspard Ulliel.

Unit 42 (2017) – Belgium Series – While having to raise his three children on his own, Inspector Sam Leroy joins Brussels’ Cyber Crime Unit. Confronted with new codes, he must collaborate with Billie Vebber, a former hacker who covertly pursues objectives of her own.

Until Dawn (2019) – he premise revolves around three comedians, Ornella Fleury, Alban Ivanov and Ahmed Sylla (The climb), who spend from midnight until dawn in a spooky place.

Vampires (2020) – A Paris teen who’s half-human, half-vampire grapples with her emerging powers and family turmoil as she’s pursued by a secret vampire community. By Benjamin Dupas and Isaure Pisani-Ferry.

Versailles (2015) – Series – Franco-Canadian historical fiction; In the wake of the Fronde in 1667, the French nobility has begun to defy and disobey the monarchy. Young King Louis XIV (George Blagden) decides to move the court from the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye near Paris to his father’s former hunting lodge near the hamlet of Versailles as a means to force their submission. As Louis renovates and expands his new Palace of Versailles, the nobles—displaced from their usual surroundings but compelled to surround the king—become embroiled in increasingly dangerous intrigues.

Wakfu (2010) – The Animated Series is an anime-influenced French animated television series produced by Ankama Animation, based on the video game Wakfu. It features Yugo, a 12-year-old boy with mystical powers and a mysterious destiny.

and always… Marseille (2016) Series – A tale of power, corruption, and redemption set against the rich backdrop of the French port city of Marseille. Robert Taro, Marseille’s mayor of 25 years, is opposed by his young, ambitious former protégé. Gérard Depardieu, Benoit Magimel, Nadia Farès, Stephanie Caillard.
