San Francisco Bay Accueil, a non-profit for French-speaking people arriving in the San Francisco Bay Area, shares its Back to Business program for 2021.

Back to Business at SFBAccueil is a series of professional networking workshops with HR or business specialists to:

  • Optimize your LinkedIn profile, revamp your CV and adapt your cover letters, get prepared for a job interview in the US,
  • Discover business opportunities in large companies of the Bay (Amazon, Google, etc.) or in specific sectors (start-ups, wine, food, etc.),
  • Expand your professional network,
  • Know how to start your business.

These ONLINE workshops or conferences organized by Anne Philippe and Eva Villanueva, take place once a month and are open to all French-speaking people who want to learn, work or discuss career, professional project, entrepreneurship, volunteering, etc.

If you are a member of San Francisco Bay Accueil (Membership $40 / year), these workshops are included in your membership. In addition to these workshops, you will enjoy over 200 activities offered by San Francisco Bay Accueil. If you are not an SFBA member, you can participate in our Back to Business events by registering through Eventbrite (for a fee, usually $10 per workshop)

  • A smooth voice for a clearer message by Gaelle Boudier
    During this workshop, discover how to prepare your voice, strengthen your vocal presence, gain volume without straining, and also what are the tools to maintain the attention of your interlocutor. Make your voice sound better so people will listen to you!
    Gaelle Boudier is a professional Singing Coach and Music Therapist. As a voice professional, she has now focused her research on the place of the vocal gesture to fluidify oral communication, give it meaning and connect the voice to the image that wants to be returned when speaking in front of an audience.

  • Focus on business opportunities in the wine industry by Jacques Brix
    During this workshop, discover the many trades that make up the players in the wine industry located in the Sonoma and Napa valleys or at distributors or importers. Sales, marketing, project manager, oenologist, cellar manager, accounting …
    Jacques Brix is ​​president of the French Association of Wine Executives USA. As a professional in the wine sector, he has an excellent knowledge of all the companies that make it up (vineyards, importers, suppliers…).
