The short documentary One Thousand Stories: The Making of a Mural is an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the creation of JR’s iconic mural, The Chronicles of San Francisco, currently on display at SFMOMA. Selected to screen in the Golden Gate Awards competition at the 2020 SFFILM Festival, this personal and penetrating film from Bay Area photographer and filmmaker Tasha Van Zandt showcases the unique atmosphere of trust, collaboration, and community of everyone who participated in this emblematic project.
It will be a Zoom session, showing the movie and a Q&A session with JR and Tasha van Zandt. You have to be a SFFILM member to participate. First membership rate is 100$.
