Gazette Store is THE concept store that brings a piece of France to San Francisco. Opened by Charlotte Boëdec a little more than a year ago, Gazette Store is like her owner… refined and elegant. Charlotte’s idea was to create a small corner of France with recent or smaller brands that carried the  “Made in France” label and that were not already represented on the US market. She also takes on French brands manufactured locally in San Francisco.

Charlotte laid out her store providing a dedicated space to each brand, and adding a “Gazette”, like a story board, that gives the brand background. This poetic and minimalist set-up turns the Hayes Valley store into a concept store, a French one. Strong of her success and at the request of her customers who want to shop at Gazette Store remotely, she launches the online version of Gazette on September 18th at gazette store Gazette-store.com.

Carefully curated by Charlotte, the brands are ethical and their creators are passionate. For instance, Les Petits Carreaux, line of children’s clothing and women’s blouses is designed by a French native and made in San Francisco. There are also the very chic bodysuits Botzaris Paris, and the brand Armor Lux well identified by the eternal stripes! Charlotte has also created her own brand called So Francisco: a line of leather accessories, meticulously crafted by French artisans.

We also love the Luxe Provence dresses, created by an old San Franciscan and made in Provence.

On the beauty products side, it’s the organic brand “C’est la Vie” that has won over customers. This is not an exhaustive list of all brands, as we advise you to visit the store. Beware that the online selection will not be the same than the in store one… we let you discover, click, click.

✨To celebrate the launch of the online store, Gazette Store is having a party on September 26th, 2019 with an acoustic concert by Virginie Marine and champagne tasting by La Cave. (Register on the link above)

Allez ! En voiture Simone !! (As written on the candles by Hutte, to get the explanation of what “en voiture Simone” means, go French yourself at the party on Sept. 26)gazette store
